Variant form of 搶

𢷇 is an old written variant of 搶 (traditional Chinese; simplified 抢), whose Mandarin reading qiǎng means “snatch” or “seize.” 搶 appears in the classical text Zhuangzi, while 𢷇 is first recorded in a Ming-printed dictionary, 四聲篇海. That entry also gives 𢷇 a washing-related gloss linked to 磢; read the old form by context, because its record connects it both to 搶 and, for the washing sense, to 磢.
