What 𣊳 means
Unicode lists it as an incomplete form of 曛. The Han-data note uses “incomplete” for characters whose components appear unfinished and names 曛 as the reference form. A Chinese dictionary reads 𣊳 xūn and cautiously says it may be the same as 曛.
曛 names the light remaining after sunset and, by extension, dusk or dimness. A Chinese anthology of women’s poetry, published 1895–1909, prints the exact glyph in 斜𣊳 (“slanting evening glow”). As of 2026, the glyph is recorded in Taiwanese personal names.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𣊳 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
