What 𣋿 means
Its recorded gloss is “bright” or “clear.” The Zihui Bu (“Supplement to the Character Dictionary”) gives its reading as 雍 (Mandarin yōng) and writes 朗也 (“it is 朗”). The work’s preface is dated 1666, and its printed edition appeared in 1669. The Kangxi Dictionary, completed in 1716, repeats the entry. Here 朗 is a dictionary gloss for 𣋿, not proof that the two glyphs are interchangeable in every passage.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𣋿 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
