What 𣏫 means
Matsu writers changed 拋’s hand component 扌 to the tree component 木. Matsu speech is a local form of Eastern Min, a Chinese language associated with the Matsu Islands. The new spelling became accepted through common use.
The Ming-era collection of notes Wuzazu (五雜組), by Xie Zhaozhe, calls a local pomelo variety in Fujian and Guangdong 𣏫. It explains the name through the fruit’s firmly attached stalk: wind could toss the fruit without making it fall.

1Why does 𣏫 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
