What 𣓪 means
It is a rare written variant of 棄, “abandon.” The usual forms are 棄 in traditional Chinese and 弃 in simplified Chinese.
Around 100 CE, the Han-dynasty Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese character dictionary, explained 棄 as hands pushing away a child with a winnowing basket—a basket for separating grain from husks. That account belongs to 棄’s history. Older literary uses also give 棄 the senses “forget” and “abolish.”

1Why does 𣓪 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
