What 𣘡 means
𣘡 is a variant form of 桫, read suō in Mandarin.
The Jiyun (集韻), a Chinese dictionary that groups characters by pronunciation and rhyme, records 𣘡 as a tree name in 1039. The earlier 1008 Guangyun (廣韻) describes 桫欏 as a tree from the Kunlun Mountains whose trunk produced flour.
A 2024 Taiwanese character dictionary lists 桫欏 for tree ferns and a separate deciduous tree in the tea family. It does not say whether either matches the old Kunlun tree.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𣘡 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
