What 𣤜 means
It is an old written form of 最, meaning “most” or “utmost.”
The Han-era Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary, glosses 最 as “take by force”; later dictionaries also record “gather” and “utmost,” while modern Chinese commonly uses it for “most.” A Jin-era character dictionary, 《四聲篇海》, lists 𣤜 in 1208; the 1716 Kangxi Dictionary calls it an old form of 最. 𣤜 served as another written form of 最, not as a character with a separate purpose.
