What 𣦿 means
It is listed as one of 朽’s written variants. An early Western Zhou bronze inscription already shows a form of 朽. The Shuowen, an early Chinese dictionary, defines 㱙 as “rot” and treats 朽 as a form written with 木 (“wood”). The word also describes old age or decline; in 不朽 (“not perishing”), it means enduring.
The standard form has different readings by language: Mandarin xiǔ; Japanese くちる (“to rot”) and キュウ (a Chinese-derived reading); Korean 후; Vietnamese hủ.

1Questions people ask
1Why does 𣦿 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
