What 𣧳 means
It is a written variant of 落 (Mandarin luò).
In Chinese, 落 means “fall” or “wither.” The Kangxi Dictionary, completed in 1716, cites 玉篇, a character dictionary, and 集韻 and 廣韻, rhyme dictionaries that group characters by sound, for this reading. Its “to die” gloss belongs to 𣧭𣧳 together.
Use 落 for ordinary Chinese writing; 𣧳 matters when reading variant-character entries.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𣧳 show as a box on some devices?
Not every system ships a font for the CJK Unified Ideographs Extension B block. Where none is installed, the character shows as an empty box; adding a font such as Noto fixes it. The character itself is still correct and copies correctly.
