What 𣯒 means
It is a written variant of 氍.
The Kangxi Dictionary (1716) records 𣯒 as equivalent to 氍. 氍毹 (qú shū in Mandarin) means a wool rug or mat; in the Eastern Han, writer Ying Shao described it as a woven wool pad. By the late Ming, the carpet laid for a performance could also stand for the stage itself.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𣯒 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
