What 𣲊 means
Two Ming-era rhyme dictionaries—reference books that group characters by sound—list 𣲊 under the water radical, a component used to group entries for lookup.
The Kangxi Dictionary (1716) cites the earlier reference work 搜真玉鏡 for “音克” (“pronounced like 克”). That entry records a reading but gives no account of why the character was created or how it appeared in ordinary writing.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𣲊 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
