What 𣼡 means
𣼡 is a shortened written variant of 浸. Taiwan’s Ministry of Education variant dictionary traces it to a shortened shape derived from 浸’s seal-script form, an older formal style of Chinese writing.
The early character dictionary Shuowen Jiezi records 浸 as a river name at Wuan; the later dictionary Yupian also records the verb meaning “to soak.”
