What 𣿮 means
They list different printed forms for one HKSCS source. The HKSCS-2004 table prints 溪 beside this entry and lists Big5 code 95F9 with older private-use code E7F3. A 2019 Unicode working chart instead identifies Hong Kong source H-95F9 as 漘. The separate standard ideograph 漘 means “riverbank”: Shuowen, an early Chinese character dictionary, gives that definition, and the Book of Odes, an ancient poetry collection, uses it for a river edge. Its form combines the water marker 氵 with 脣, which supplies the sound. Follow the form supported by the source text instead of substituting by appearance.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𣿮 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
