What 𤿹 means
It is a variant of 㿹, a character for swelling skin.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Education’s Dictionary of Chinese Character Variants lists 𤿹 under 㿹 and gives the Mandarin reading tà. It cites 類篇 (Leipian), a Chinese character dictionary from the Song dynasty completed in 1066, for the gloss “skin rises.”
Later Chinese dictionaries preserve the entry too, including 四聲篇海, 字彙 and 正字通.
