What 𥋵 means
It has different readings for Vietnamese words about the eyes.
In the nineteenth-century Tự Đức Thánh Chế Tự Học Giải Nghĩa Ca, a Vietnamese dictionary that teaches Chinese characters through Nôm verse, hằm appears in “hằm hằm” (a hard glare), hem in “lem hem” (unclear sight), and him in “lim him” (sleepy, half-closed eyes). The surrounding phrase selects the reading.
Chữ Nôm is a Vietnamese writing system built from Chinese-character forms to write Vietnamese. In this teaching dictionary, it carries local spoken words alongside Chinese headwords. The left component 目 (“eye”) points to the subject; the right component 歆 provides a sound cue.

1Why does 𥋵 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
