What 𦭠 means
A classical dictionary preserves the older form. The Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese character dictionary completed about 100 CE, records this form and glosses 蹌 as “to move.” In later dictionary entries, brisk walking and light dancing appear as additional senses. In Mandarin, 蹌 is pronounced qiāng.
