What 𦵾 means
Completed in 1039, 《集韻》 is a Chinese dictionary arranged by rhyme to guide pronunciation; its entry gives 𦵾 the sound formula 資昔切, an old way to indicate a reading. 《類篇》, a character dictionary, calls it a kind of grass. The Kangxi Dictionary, completed in 1716, repeats that short gloss.
That short gloss gives no botanical species name.
