What 𧮲 means
It is an old written form of 㕣.
Han-era Shuowen calls 㕣 muddy ground in a mountain hollow and lists 𧮲 as its old form; Song-era pronunciation dictionary Jiyun repeats the link. Chinese variant dictionaries also link it to 睿 (“wise”) and, through 䜭, 濬 (“deep; dredge”). Japanese references read it えん (en); Korean Hanja dictionaries read it 연 (yeon) as an archaic 㕣 form.
If it appears as a box, your font lacks the glyph; the text still contains 𧮲.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𧮲 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
