What 𧷽 means
It can mean “add or supply,” or “what remains.”
賸 appears on Western Zhou bronze inscriptions, in ancient Chu manuscripts and Qin bamboo writing slips, and in seal script (an early formal style) in Shuowen Jiezi, an early dictionary. Older glosses include adding or sending an attendant; later dictionary entries also give “left over,” “surplus,” and literary “just” or “more.”
Variant records list 𧷽 as an alternate form of 賸, linking it to that graph’s history and range of senses.
Historical and literary.
Older senses include adding or supplying, not just “left over.”

1Why does 𧷽 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
