What 𧻏 means
It is a later spelling of the same word.
The Han-era Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese dictionary, glosses 逃 as “to flee” and analyzes its regular form as 辵 (a movement element) plus 兆 (a sound element).
𧻏 instead uses 走 (“go”) and 外 (“outside”), a later meaning-based form. The Qing-era Kangxi Dictionary also records “leave” and “avoid” among 逃’s senses.
𧻏 is a rare variant spelling; 逃 is the regular form in ordinary Chinese writing.
Do not read it as a new word: it is a variant of 逃.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𧻏 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
