What 𨊿 means
It is a rare historical form of 較, meaning “compare.”
The Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese dictionary, defines the related form 䡈 as a curved metal fitting on a carriage. The historical dictionary Longkan Shoujian records 𨊿 as equivalent to 較. That fitting could distinguish rank; the meaning of 較 widened from the vehicle part to comparing or judging things.
A rare historical variant; 較 is the standard Traditional Chinese form, while 较 is used in Simplified Chinese.
