What 𨋊 means
𨋊 points to 輣, an old war cart or siege tower.
The Mandarin character 輣 is pronounced péng and can name a war cart or a raised siege vehicle. A Ming-era copy of Mozi’s chapter on defending city gates uses 𨋊 in a line about a wooden tower projecting beyond the wall. Another edition prints 輣 there, while a note by the scholar Bi Yuan suggests 吻 instead; the exact reading in that copy is unsettled.
