What 𨖷 means
It describes the look of running-script handwriting.
Running script joins or shortens strokes to move faster while staying legible; cursive takes those shortcuts further, while regular script keeps forms more distinct. The earliest dictionary record is in the sixth-century Yùpiān (玉篇), which glosses 𨖷 as “the look of running script.” The Song-dynasty Jíyùn (集韻) preserves that calligraphy sense and describes clerks using the quick style for official work, favoring speed over regular-script rules.
