What 𨟂 means
It has two separate dictionary readings.
Jiyun, a Chinese dictionary from the Song dynasty arranged by sound and rhyme, records the shì reading as a township name in Mi County. Later Chinese character dictionaries disagree: Zhengzitong questions whether the form is a miswriting; Kangxi Zidian preserves that objection alongside the place-name reading. A separate jì entry identifies 𨟂 as a variant of 薊.
