What 𨮹 means
It means “dragon lock.” The Mandarin reading is dí, with a rising second tone. The Chinese character dictionary Zihui records the reading and gloss in 1615; the later Kangxi Dictionary repeats it. The entry names an object but gives no design details.
Why does 𨮹 show as a box?
Some fonts lack a drawing for it. 𨮹 belongs to an expanded Unicode set for rare and historic Han characters, and fonts vary in how much of that set they cover. A box means the display has not drawn the glyph; the character itself is unchanged.

1Why does 𨮹 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
