What 𩌸 means
𩌸 is another form of 觐: a formal audience with a ruler.
The traditional form is 覲: a lord formally appearing before a king.
Why was 覲 tied to autumn?
It named one seasonal court visit.
The Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese dictionary, defines 覲 as lords visiting the king in autumn to perform their court duties. Rites of Zhou, a court ritual manual, links the visit to judging each state’s achievements.
Later classical writing also used 覲 more broadly for a formal audience with a ruler.
Historical and courtly in tone.

1Why does 𩌸 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
