What 𩎮 means
It is a borrowed spelling in classical poems. The Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese character dictionary, glosses 𩎮 with 衺 (“deviant; not straight”): 交 contributes meaning and 韋 signals sound. Writing under the Qing dynasty, Duan Yucai reads 回 in two Classic of Poetry lines as 𩎮: “crooked” in one, “contrary” in the other. He says it had fallen out of use by then, replaced by 違.
