What 𩓏 means
The standard traditional form 頃 appears on Western Zhou bronze inscriptions. The Eastern Han dictionary Shuowen explains its structure as “head not upright”: 頁 means “head,” and 匕 depicts a leaning person.
Besides that old tilt sense, 顷/頃 also came to mean “just now” and a Chinese farmland measure of 100 mu. 傾/倾 is the separate character for “to lean.”
𩓏 is a variant of 顷 meaning “a short while.”
