Han character 𩛞

The Zihui dictionary (1615) lists 𩛞 as an old form of 饱 (“sated”); the Zhengzitong dictionary (1671) rejects the shape as an error, distinguishing it from 𩜿; another entry equates it with 殍 (“starvation victim”). A note links 𩛞饇, dough rising during fermentation, to Wei Juyuan’s banquet menu and a puffed cake in the Book of Qi, a Chinese history. A Korean biography by 18th-century scholar An Jeong-bok preserves it.
