What 𩰮 means
It is another written form of 𩰫, meaning an earthen cooking pot.
The Eastern Han dictionary Shuowen Jiezi (compiled around 100 CE) records 𩰫 as Qin's name for an earthen pot. Qin was the state that unified China before the Han dynasty.
The Zihui bu, a dictionary supplement, equates 𩰮 with 𩰫; the Kangxi Dictionary calls 𩰮 an error. Taiwan's Ministry of Education lists the 𩰮 variant: 鬲 (a cooking vessel) plus 斗 (a measuring vessel) suggest a pot.

1Why does 𩰮 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
