What 𩴎 means
It is an alternate form of 魅, meaning “spirit” or “demon.”
The Shuowen Jiezi, a Chinese character dictionary from the Eastern Han period, defines 鬽 as an “old spirit” and shows 魅 with 未 hinting at sound. Scholars dispute whether a Shang-period oracle-bone sign—a divination mark on bone or shell—is an ancestor of 鬽.
By 997, the Chinese Longkan Shoujian, a dictionary for readers of Buddhist texts, equates 𩴎 with 魅. From pre-Qin writings through the Six Dynasties, 魅 named feared spirits; later it could mean “bewitch,” while 魅力 means “charm.”

Questions people ask
1Why does 𩴎 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
