What 𩽽 means
A jellyfish. In Mandarin, it is read zhà. 𩽽 is the simplified form of 𩶱; dictionaries also link 𩶱 with 䖳.
The oldest book in this dictionary trail is 《玉篇》, a Chinese character dictionary first compiled around 543. A Yuan-era printed edition describes 䖳 as a jellyfish shaped like an overturned hat, floating with the water. 《廣韻》, a Chinese rhyme dictionary, defines it as “jellyfish” in 1008.
The Kangxi Dictionary (1716) says 𩶱 is the same character as 䖳 and cites 《字彙補》. An 1886 Fujian marine-life account records 𩶱, the spellings 鮓, 蚱 and 蛇, and a saying linking rain on the eighth day of the fourth lunar month with a cluster of jellyfish.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𩽽 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
