What 𩿮 means
It means a chick or young bird as a variant of 鶵/雛. The early Chinese dictionary Shuowen Jiezi describes 鶵 as an older written form of 雛. Longkan Shoujian, a Chinese character dictionary, records 𩿮 as a nonstandard form of 鶵 in 997.
In the Zhuangzi story, the bird refuses carrion. Zhuangzi uses that contrast to tell minister Huizi he has no interest in Huizi's office.
