What 𪀆 means
It is the Vietnamese chữ Nôm character for the bird word sẻ.
Chữ Nôm grew from Chinese character writing: writers adapted existing characters and made new ones for Vietnamese words. At first, Nôm forms annotated Literary Chinese, the formal written language; by the sixteenth century, Nôm could write Vietnamese as a full system. As the Latin-based Quốc ngữ spread in the early twentieth century, chữ Nôm receded from everyday writing.
