What 𪃟 means
A nestling still fed by its parent.
𪃟 is another written form of 鷇 (Mandarin kòu). Old glossaries contrast it with 雛, a young bird that can peck food for itself.
What does 鷇飮 mean?
A metaphor for a simple life without utensils.
The phrase literally means “nestling drinking.” The Erya, an early Chinese glossary, records the parent-fed bird sense. Shuowen Jiezi, a dictionary from the Han period, describes 鷇 as a bird element plus a sound clue. Fangyan, a regional glossary from the Han period, applies it to sparrow young and chicken chicks around ancient North Yan, Joseon and Lishui.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𪃟 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
