What 𪆼 means
It is an animal-name from classical Chinese writing.
Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese dictionary, describes 鸓 as a flying, mouse-shaped bird that nurses its young. Shan Hai Jing, a book on geography and legendary creatures, depicts a red-and-black, magpie-like being with two heads and four legs, said to ward off fire.
The older form pairs a bird element for meaning with 畾 for sound. Later forms shift or reshape that sound element; Longkan Shoujian, a dictionary completed in 997 CE, records 𪆼.
