What 𪊼 means
𪊼 is a variant of 麇; context decides the reading.
In the Shang dynasty, royal diviners carved questions on bones and shells; hunt records include an older form of 麇.
The Shuowen Jiezi, a Han-dynasty Chinese character dictionary, defines 麇 (Mandarin jūn) as 獐, a small, hornless deer. It explains 鹿 as the meaning part and shortened 囷 as a sound clue; 麕 is the fuller old form.
The classical Chinese chronicle Zuo Zhuan uses 麇 (Mandarin qún) for a crowd arriving; 麇集 means “gather.” Taiwan’s Ministry of Education lists 𪊼 under 麇 in its 2024 edition.

1Questions people ask
1Why does 𪊼 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
