What 𪎖 means
It is a variant of 糜, with the same meanings.
糜 first named rice cooked into thick gruel; Chinese texts also use it for things crushed or rotten and for spending wastefully. The 3rd-century Chinese dictionary Guangya glosses 𪎖 as rotten. The 1615 Zihui character dictionary identifies it with 糜, and the 1716 Kangxi Dictionary repeats both notes.
Why does 𪎖 show as a box?
The font or app may lack its glyph.
The Unicode character set puts 𪎖 in an additional range for Han characters. A font without its glyph may show an empty box, a question mark, or a blank. The text may still contain 𪎖; only its visible form is missing.

1Why does 𪎖 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
