What 𪎯 means
An alternate form of 黂, a classical hemp-seed character.
The Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary, defines the related form 萉 as hemp seed; later variant dictionaries list 𪎯 under 黂. A Chinese illustrated plant book from 1848 writes 萉 or 𪎯 while distinguishing seedless male hemp.
The Kangxi Dictionary (1716) adds a separate Mandarin reading fèi, “tangled hemp,” but warns that the graph in its Liezi quotation (a classical text) is corrupt. In an old passage, crop or food wording points to seed; clothing descriptions can mean hemp padding.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𪎯 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
