What 𪏧 means
Yellow or straw-colored. In Mandarin, the related character 䵏 is read lǎo.
Taiwan’s Ministry of Education variant dictionary traces 䵏’s glosses “grass color” and “yellow” to 龍龕手鏡 (Longkan Shoujing), a Chinese character dictionary completed in 997.
The Kangxi Dictionary, published in 1716, cites 字彙補 (Zihui Bu, a dictionary supplement) to record 𪏧 as equivalent to 䵏. These entries preserve the same color sense across the dictionary record.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𪏧 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
