What 𪒽 means
Animal names use it for chũi.
Chữ Nôm is a historical character-based way of writing Vietnamese. It adapted Chinese characters and added new forms to record Vietnamese words. The full spellings are 𤝞𪒽 for chuột chũi (“mole”) and 𧍝𪒽 for dế chũi (“mole cricket”).
In đen trũi, the glyph has the reading trũi; the phrase describes a completely black, even color. The surrounding word distinguishes this use from the animal names.

1Why does 𪒽 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
