What 𪓋 means
It is an older form of 䋛, a character for rice-like embroidery.
The Shuowen Jiezi, compiled between 100–121 CE, describes fine stitches clustered like grains. Its note connects 䋛 with 粉米, an embroidered emblem on formal dress in the Book of Documents.
Is 𪓋 an old form of 䋛?
Yes. Taiwan's Ministry of Education lists 䋛 as the standard form.
Keep 𪓋 when faithfully transcribing a source that uses it; choose 䋛 when following that dictionary's standard. Later Chinese dress traditions read 粉米 as nourishment and used permitted emblems to mark rank.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𪓋 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
