What 𪓛 means
Use a Unicode hex input method.
As of 2026, Word accepts 2A4DB followed by AltX; French and German editions use AltC. macOS Unicode Hex Input stops at four digits, so use Character Viewer or another method for this five-digit code.
What does 𪓛 mean?
It names a kind of turtle.
A note on Guo Pu’s 4th-century poem about the Yangtze, Jiang Fu (“Rhapsody on the Yangtze”), describes it as thin-headed, with a goose-like beak and claws. Later Chinese dictionaries keep that turtle gloss; 𪚻 is a documented variant form.
