What 𪔴 means
It represents a drum’s sound. The early Chinese dictionary Shuowen Jiezi defines 𪔳 that way: 鼓 means “drum,” while 隆 hints at its sound. The forms use these parts in reverse order.
A 1606 Chinese rhyme guide lists 𪔴. A Qing-era gazetteer writes 𪔴𪔴 after a phrase meaning “the sound of war drums”; the exact glyph also appears in volume 1 of the Korean classical collection 『凌虛關漫稿』.
