What 𪖣 means
A written variant for sneezing.
The Taiwan Ministry of Education’s variant dictionary gives 𪖣 the Mandarin reading tì and glosses it as “nasal illness”; it links the character to 嚏, the familiar written form for sneeze. In a message, read it as a character for sneezing; the surrounding sentence supplies the sender’s point.
The old text preserves the word, not this exact spelling
The Shuowen dictionary does not list 𪖣. Later Chinese character dictionaries record it as a variant and cite a line from the Han-dynasty Taixuanjing, a classical text by Yang Xiong, where the sneeze word appears as 嚏. Later lexicons keep it in the same nose-and-sneeze sense. This supports an old history for the word, but does not prove this exact spelling appeared in the original text.
A dictionary variant for a traditional written word; 嚏 is the familiar form for ordinary reading.
