What 𪖮 means
It names the same act as 嚏: a sneeze.
The Longkan Shoujing, a Chinese character dictionary, and the Kangxi Dictionary both list this form. The standard character 嚏 uses 口 (“mouth”) as a meaning clue and 疐 as a sound clue.
Did people think a sneeze meant someone was talking about you?
Yes; a Han-era note records that folk belief.
In “Zhong Feng” (終風), the speaker lies awake longing for someone. Han scholar Zheng Xuan reads the sneeze as a sign that the beloved is thinking of the speaker; he adds that people of his time said a sneezer was being talked about. This is a folk reading of sneezing, not a separate sense of 𪖮.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𪖮 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
