What 𪗓 means
Read it as the historical form of 齋.
A bronze inscription shows 齋 in the late Spring and Autumn period. Before rites, it meant fasting and cleansing. The Han-era dictionary Shuowen Jiezi calls 𪗓 its 籀文 (older script form). Later, 齋 also meant vegetarian meals and study rooms.
