What 𪢽 means
It is a historical form of 封, read fēng in Mandarin.
Texts from China's Zhou dynasty, an early ruling house, use 封 for a boundary and land granted to a ruler. By the Tang dynasty, centuries later, it could also mean sealing a package.
Some scholars connect early 丰 with 封; it appears in Shang-dynasty oracle-bone records—questions rulers had carved on animal bones or turtle shells to seek guidance. Some read it as a tree planted to mark a boundary; others see a flourishing plant. Bronze inscriptions also include 𪢽 as a form of 封.
