What 𪩷 means
The poem uses 幝幝 for a worn carriage. 𪩷 is a written variant of 幝. Shuowen Jiezi, an early Chinese character dictionary, explains 幝 with 巾 (“cloth”) for meaning and 單 to cue its sound. It quotes “檀車幝幝” from the Book of Odes, an old Chinese poetry collection.
The Qing dynasty scholar Duan Yucai argued that the older sense was worn cloth, extended to a carriage in the poem. In Mandarin pinyin, the spelling system for Mandarin sounds, chǎn is the worn-or-shabby reading; a second reading, chàn, means a cloth cover fitted to a carriage.

Questions people ask
1Why does 𪩷 show as a box on some devices?
Because that device's fonts have no glyph for it. The character is still correct and still copies correctly — the box is a missing glyph, not a broken character.
