What 𪫠 means
There is no single reading across references. Taiwan’s national character inventory, CNS11643, gives bì; some Chinese dictionary pages instead give kǒng and equate it with 恐 (“fear”). For a person’s name, use their own pronunciation.
Where does 𪫠 appear in old names?
In an older personal name and a Taiwan register. A Chinese regional history book from the Qing dynasty, which followed the Ming, records 𪫠予 as an alternate name for Ming official Cheng Jiming. Taiwan’s household-registration character list includes the glyph.
